Resmi olarak ilk kez 1949 senesinde düzenlenen British Academy Awards'ta 1998 senesinden beri video oyunları da ödül kazanıyor. Oyunların haricinde TV ve filmlere de ödül dağıtılan BAFTA'nın 2014 yılı sonuçları belli oldu.
